Brendan Bulger has been performing and teaching Irish music for a long time and was named to the North American Comhaltas Ceoltoiri  Hall of Fame in 2011 despite not being very famous. He learned much of his music from two of the greats, Larry Reynolds and Seamus Connolly, and was the first Boston-born musician to win an All-Ireland fiddle championship. The New York Times music blog has described his fiddle playing as “so powerful, that you want to sneak a peek at his instrument, to see what’s inside.” OK, Brendan has played with outfits such as Noel Henry’s Irish Showband and Tom Garvey - and is a co-founder of the international recording and touring act: The Sprigs.
